Olhos de Água, is a delightful Portuguese fishing town that is situated in the heart of the beautiful Algarve. This peaceful town is centred around a sandy cove, where fishing boats are moored on the golden sands and old fishermen tend their nets in huts that line the shore. The naming comes from the fresh water fountains that emerge from the sand of the beach, where the fishermen in the old days would go and collect buckets of fresh water to their homes and boats. Balaia is where Club Med Algarve is located. This is a premium location for the Nationals, The beach is one of the best and quietness is keen. it is a very quiet location, with very few typical restaurants and no bars at all, except for some snack bars. It is advisable to rent a car, however, you will find all necessary places for groceries, pharmacy, papershop, bookshop, souvenirs at a walking distance. The terrain is flat and safe and most people chose to walk to the places.
